James Kempson CPA, is a Charleston native who graduated from Wofford College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. After Wofford, James moved back home to attend the College of Charleston where he received a Master of Science in Accountancy in 2013.
James has over eight years of experience in public accounting and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2015. James has experience in all realms of taxation to include individuals, business, trusts & estates. His specialties also include tax planning and strategizing for high wealth clients and small businesses. James enjoys the complexities that each client brings and welcomes clients from all industries.
When away from the office, James enjoys being outdoors with his fiancé, Harlan, and their two rescue dogs, Olive and Goose. You can find them out on the water, attempting the great game of golf, or playing a round of tennis.
